every sense of the word, never before shown in public. TAA member,

Of Interest: Museum of
Outdoor Art The Museum of Outdoor Arts (MOA) is a forerunner of
site-specific sculpture in Englewood,
Colorado. MOA specializes in creating environments that promote a range of
sculpture.. Our art collection is located
within various public locations throughout the Denver metro area. From
commercial office parks to botanic gardens, city parks and traditional
sculpture gardens; art is placed to interpret space as "a museum without
walls." Employing a combination of art, architecture, and landscape, MOA
is best known for integrating these disciplines in order to create exemplary
environments. Foremost, the Museum of Outdoor Arts believes in 'making art a
part of everyday life' by integrating the arts into public spaces accessible
by all. For a map of our outdoor collection visit MoaOnline.org. |

Workshop with CMA Conservator, Robin Hanson NO
VIRGINIA, THIS IS NOT YOUR GARDEN VARIETY COAT HANGER Wearable
art and heirloom garments alike benefit from proper storage and display. Often
this involves hanging the object. If the slope of the hanger does not match
that of the garment, more damage can result. This padded hanger workshop will
provide an introduction to the materials used by conservators to construct
padded hangers and the many forms these hangers can take. Take away with you
a hanger you will make that day. |
